E-Road SaaS Vehicle Servicing Module

Surfacing priority servicing statuses so fleet managers can easily fight fires and action preventative maintenance fast

Project Overview

E-Road is a telemetric’s SaaS tool used by truck companies globally. The Vehicle Service module gives Fleet Managers the ability to monitor their fleet and ‘fight fires’, surfacing vehicles that need urgent maintenance or servicing.

Co-Design Collaboration

At Rush, I held a lead UX role in replatforming E-Roads Fleet Management SaaS software, surfacing ‘fires’ for a Service Manager to enable fleet compliance.

Stakeholder Collaboration

From within the product team, I facilitated collaborative workshops, mapped out the Customer Journey and User flows. Then interpreting key user stories, we produced a series of quick sketches to start conversations. From popular team votes, I refined these into Wireframes, Hi-Fi Designs, then UX Prototypes.

Collaborations with Customers

Finally, we tested our assumptions in-person with customers, either validating or adjusting to key findings. We used a combo of techniques, with paper prototypes and clickable prototypes on screen. Although the clickable prototypes were at times confusing for participants, we did manage to discover valuable insights and recommendations.

The Work

Starting with UX Research, I identified holes in the current customer journey then mapped out new flows. User testing our assumptions helped identify what worked, what needed iterating or needed stripping back to a common language.
