A white label Self-Service Insurance Mobile App for Suncorps brands

Project Overview

The Suncorp Insurance App was an internal experiment to make a case for a larger consumer app. Initially only for their staff, the app had limited functionality and was based on a MVP requirement to bring customers' policies into one platform.

Collaboration

My task outside of a UI and UX role, helped establish Suncorps internal design processes. We also learnt what the key customers goals could be through stakeholder interviews and user testing at the end of each sprint.

I proactively set up interviews with Stakeholders to first understand the problem. I used techniques like Card Sorts to establish information hierarchy. Then asked key questions into the customers’ insurance needs.

After creating a basic prototype, I ran design tests with internal stakeholders to gain further feedback. 

Finally, I collaborated with developers to create a working beta mobile app.

Project Value
  • From testing Stakeholders thought it would be helpful to have a snapshot of their policies in one place
